Budding dancers of Shivalaya Natiya Palli took their first step on stage with devotion and pride at their Salangai Poojai.
Shivalaya Natiya Palli celebrated the Salangai Poojai of our young students in May 2024 at Hindustan College of Engineering, Malumichampatti, Coimbatore.
A special occasion in every Bharatanatyam dancer's journey, the Salangai Poojai marks the blessing of the ankle bells (salangai) and a student's first step on stage. Our budding dancers performed with devotion and pride, celebrating the graceful tradition of Bharatanatyam with their Guru, families and well-wishers.
